Real Life Story from Mutual Trust

Part of 2015 Life Insurance Awareness Month

September is Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM), an industry-wide effort coordinated by Life Happens.org, designed to focus Americans’ attention on their need for life insurance. This is the second time in four years that Life Happens has selected a Real Life Story featuring MTL policyholders and products to include in its media campaign.

Every year, Life Happens.org conducts a contest to gather insurance stories from across the country to showcase during LIAM. Here's a summary of the story featuring an MTL policyholder and product that Life Happens will showcase this year:

"As their family began to grow, Sam and Amy knew they needed more life insurance coverage than what was provided through Sam’s employer. To ensure their infant daughter, Charli, would be protected if anything happened to them, they turned to agent Juli McNeely, LUTCF, CFP, CLU, McNeely Financial Services, Inc., Spencer, Wis., for help taking out a policy that would provide adequate coverage in the event of their deaths."

"When Sam fell ill and suddenly died at the age of 38 from a dissected aorta, Juli reminded Amy of the life insurance policy with Mutual Trust Financial Group…. Juli couldn’t take away the emotional pain of losing Sam, but she knew his insurance policies would help them financially. Sam’s life insurance policy through his work and the policies Juli helped the family set up, has allowed Amy and Charli to live their lives without financial hardship."

In 2011, Life Happens.org featured an MTL story on the Krzewina family during LIAM. The story explained how an MTL Covenant II policy with a waiver of premium helped save the family’s Wisconsin dairy farm after cancer struck farm owner Paul Krzewina.
