A Pan-American Life Insurance Group Stock Company

LIAM 2014

Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM) is an industry-wide campaign coordinated every September by the non-profit organization, Life Happens. Its goal is to encourage all Americans to take stock of their insurance needs.

Life Happens has invited Boomer Esiason, retired NFL MVP quarterback, to serve as its celebrity spokesperson for the second year in a row. Boomer, who lost his mother to cancer when he was only seven years old, is passionate about the value of life insurance. Hear Boomer’s comments about insurance throughout September on T.V., radio and social media.

To join in LIAM’s festivities, be sure to visit www.lifehappens.org. The website offers a variety of materials, including an online calculator to help you estimate your life insurance needs, as well as videos on Boomer and the winners of this year’s Real Life Stories® Client Service Recognition program.

Underinsurance is a growing crisis in America. Approximately 30% of U.S. adult households have no life insurance, and 25% of people who have life insurance say they don’t have enough.* When surveyed, nearly a third of all Americans say they would feel the financial impact in one month if the primary wage earner in their family were to die.* What can you do about this situation? Review your coverage annually, and encourage your family and friends to review theirs.

Schedule a Meeting Today

If you haven’t met with your MTL life insurance representative this year, September is a perfect time to schedule an appointment, and tell your family and friends to do so, too. Taking action today can make a huge difference in your and your loved one’s lives. To find an advisor, click here.
