Policyowner Services: High-Touch and Online
Representatives from Mutual Trust's Division of Policyowner Services are available by phone, fax or email Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (CST) to help you with policy changes, loan processes, payments on claims, and more. Although we use technology to update our processes and enhance workflow, when you call us, you will always reach one of our highly trained service representatives. In fact, if one of our service representatives doesn't answer within 30 seconds of your call, just leave your name and preferred callback number, and we’ll get back to you soon.
If you need information over the weekend or after business hours, our Online Policy Manager is available 24/7. Through the Policy Manager you have secure access to a variety of information on your policies, including activity statements, copies of recent bills, and up to 5 years of anniversary statements. If you have family members or friends who have purchased policies from Mutual Trust and haven’t registered at the site yet, encourage them to do so today. It's easy, fast, and useful.
At our website, under the "Customer Service" dropdown box, there's also a variety of customer service forms, including ones for change of address and change of beneficiary, and requests for policy loans and loan repayments. The forms are fillable PDFs, so they’re easy and quick to fill out, print and submit.
Loans and Claims
At Mutual Trust, we know your policy's living benefits can be just as important to you as its death benefits. Therefore, we generally respond to requests for loans and withdrawals within three business days of receiving the request. Also, at the unfortunate time of a claim, your beneficiary will be treated with the utmost empathy. The benefits of your policy will be distributed promptly upon receiving the necessary documentation.
